One All Birthdays
Half Birthday
When studying the keywords I was surprised to actually find half the world's birthday. I've heard of 1st year age, date of birth 2 his 21st birthday, 40th birthday and 60th birthday. But I've never heard before any means of birthdays.
60th Anniversary:
I think that in India in ancient times people used to celebrate 60th birthday only. Because in my mind I can not remember 1 birthday, or 2nd birthday party I attended in my child hood. But I can still remember much 60th birthday I attended as a child small. If you look back, it looks so funny that all those elderly people who used to disrupt our maximum capacity and ability as a child, are asking us to celebrate her 60th birthday as guests. (Off course we are called because you can not avoid, because you have to call our parents – De Indeed, were called our parents and us along with the bonus of invitation).
I think in those days people used to carry out its 60th anniversary to show their power and position in society. In a family setting where all the former members of the family stayed together and control the money and the food was with oldest man in the family (called Karanavar in Malayalam), who was walking with a key group of the grocery store from the house. So even if you want to celebrate your son or daughter's first birthday there was no way to do it. And when that old decided to celebrate its 60th birthday there was no way to flee, as it may affect you and your families food supply daily.
Half birthday in Wikipedia:
When I met with word birthday half the first thing I did was to Google for that word. As expected the Wikipedia was the first result. An intelligent man or humorous man writing a clear definition and thus half birthday. I really salute the volunteers who has.
He explains that half birthday is celebrated "Is a day six months before or after the real anniversary of the birth of a person" (Birthday). Very good definition of fact. And He says people who normally celebrates birthday is half the people born near Christmas since its original birthday may be less important due to the celebration of Christmas. It also explains that half of Wikipedia birthday is also used to celebrate by attending the school children whose birthday is the school holidays.
The second explanation may be that we can digest as child psychology with hopes to celebrate his birthday with friends and teachers. But I think the others who celebrate their half birthday is a modern avatar of the old men who deny a child's 1st birthday and celebrate its own 60th birthday.
